Who are we?

Founded by clinical hypnotherapist Lucy Harris, Re:Mind is an online course designed to help you rediscover your own potential for happiness.

Lucy


Specialising in solution focused hypnotherapy, a form of psychotherapy that uses the latest advances in neuroscience research to better understand our brains and our behaviour, Lucy is dedicated to helping people feel good about their lives and take control of their thoughts.

Solution focused hypnotherapy aims to help retrain our thinking and unlike a lot of other therapies, it focuses on the solution, rather than the problem. This can make it a positive, and often even fun experience – one that’s firmly rooted in science too!

What is Re:Mind?

Re:Mind is a 12 week online course that involves videos, hypnotherapy audios and worksheets, designed to help you rewire your mind and the way in which you think.

What can I expect from it?

When you first sign up you’ll be asked to think about your goals and what you’re hoping to achieve. Our introductory video will then talk you through how your brain works, why you think the way you do and introduce you to the first tools that will help you start the process of changing your thinking. 

Each subsequent week, we’ll invite you to log in, track your progress and learn more about the different aspects of neuroscience, behaviour and the tools that you can take away and practice to help you feel calmer, more confident and more in control. 


Why Re:Mind?

Although Lucy runs her own private practice near Bath in the UK, she saw a wider need for affordable and accessible mental health support. Re:Mind is based on the idea that if more people were to learn how to better manage their emotions and cope with their stress, it could potentially help prevent the onset of more serious mental health conditions in the future.

And wouldn’t the world be a happier place if we were all more positive, calmer and confident?

We believe that everyone, no matter what their circumstances, deserves peace of mind and positive mental health. If we can help even one person to lead a happier life, then we are contributing towards a happier and healthier planet. 

Kindness

Sometimes it may seem that we live in a world that can be very negative and fearful. By spreading some love and kindness we hope to create a safe place for people to explore their thoughts and emotions and learn to heal themselves. 

Positivity

We aim to help people feel more enthusiastic and excited about their future by exuding positivity. We live in a beautiful world full of opportunity; we just have to be open to it! Of course, there is some darkness in life, but with some positivity we can work through it, and make the journey a far brighter one. 

Understanding

We know what it feels like. Having experienced our own difficulties with mental well-being, we can appreciate and empathise with those going through it themselves. We bring our own experiences to others to show that this is a shared experience, and together we can get through anything.

Total well-being

We believe that if people feel good on the inside, they look after the outside too. By empowering people to take control of their mental well-being we hope to encourage a total outlook on health and well-being.
